Ten Thousand Words!

Friends, wishing all good things to you.

We’ve been making music and other good news, the guitar concerto is 99% finished. But for now…

I bring to you, ten thousand words.

Here we are traveling the waves of endless lyrics in the ocean of Jobim. It’s our funky take on his composition “Waters of March” and the hypnotizing stream of conciousness levitates through Allison squeezing it all in, first in Portuguese and next in English. From there Justin digs in on the low end leading to Tripp improvising on the EWI. If all of a sudden your ears take you to additional Jobim locales, stick around, you aren’t making it up. We seem to be zipping into “Desifinado” and “Favela,” finally touching down on “One Note Samba” with me and Danny trading some licks.

Tell me, what crazy person thought this up? And why?

The band:
Peter Sprague — guitar
Allison Adams Tucker — vocals
Danny Green — piano
Tripp Sprague — sax
Beth Ross Buckley — flute
Justin Grinnell — bass
Duncan Moore — drums
