Peter Sprague Group at UCSD

My friend Annika Nelson, who also happens to be a great visual artist, works at the UCSD Craft Center. Annika created the CD cover designs for several of my albums including Dream Walking, Lucy in the Sky, Dr. Einstein’s Spin, Ocean in My Eyes, The Secret Chord, and Sparks and Seeds.

Coming up Annika and her helpers are holding an event called “An Evening of Surf Stories and Music.” We are the music and it’s going to be a hoot!

Join us for an unforgettable evening with music by Peter Sprague, expert surfboard shaping demonstrations by the UC San Diego Craft Center’s talented shaping instructors, and a catered reception with light bites and refreshments.

The night will also include thrilling surf stories shared by professional surfers JoJo Roper, Kaitlin Mikkelsen and Zeke Szekely and moderated by surf journalist Scott Bass.
