Make a right on Villa La Jolla Drive heading north. Drive up the hill into the Gilman Parking Structure. Parking: UCSD requires parking permits for all weekday parking from 7am to 11pm. Permits will also be sold the night of the performance at permit machines. The machines charge $2/hour and take cash and credit cards.

The incredible band is: Joshua White - rhodes Peter Sprague - guitar Ben Schachter - sax Hamilton Price - bass Dan Schnelle - drums Also on the show is: The Daniel Rosenboom Quintet: Daniel Rosenboom – Trumpets Gavin Templeton – Saxophones, Bass Clarinet, and Flute Alexander Noice – Electric Guitar and FX Kai Kurosawa – Bear Trax and FX Dan Schnelle – Drums For the first time, local favorites Joshua White (piano) and Peter Sprague (guitar) join forces as co-leaders to create an evening of instrumental works, joined by band members Ben Schachter (tenor sax), Hamilton Price (bass), and Dan Schnelle (drums). A powerful, energetic opening set of music is provided by The Daniel Rosenboom Quintet. Rosenboom is an LA-based trumpeter, composer, and producer, recently named the "Face To Watch in Jazz" by the Los Angeles Times. The Daniel Rosenboom Quintet brings together some of the most distinctive instrumental voices in the LA Jazz scene. Drawing from a wide range of styles including jazz, rock, grunge, and metal, with nods to New Orleans street music, Balkan-style dance rhythms and Indian modes, this band rocks!
