Hey Good People, it’s humid, we’ve got thunder, and lightning is striking twice somewhere close. Summer rain, easy on the skin, you don’t have to dodge it when you’re out walking the dog. It’s a rare SoCal happening and I’m full on digging the possibilities of the wettest spot on earth, our beloved Kauai, paying us dry folks a visit. I say, keep it coming, we’ll all float away together…
The Summer Fun on 101 show last weekend was a career highlight. All of the good elements came together — magic weather, lots of happy and spirited folks, kids in attendance, excellent sound man with good ears and a mellow rasta way of operating, great raw electric guitar and hard hitting drummer opening act, our set was charged and the musos were playing with smiles on their faces, the concert promoter is one of the good guys and he handed us the check right after our last note, and the Mattson Two ripped it up with mod-surf rock music complete with killer phase shifter FX dovetailing after our set. Yeah, it was a great time and many thanks to all that were in attendance plus those that helped with the details. Let’s do it again! Plus this cool photo man named Dan Audick captured some great images. Check it out… Up for this week, tomorrow (Wednesday) Leonard and I play our annual Cardiff Library summer concert. We hit at 7pm and it’s free to get in. It’s a wonderful spot for live music and sonic lightning strikes twice there I’m told. Hope you can make it! On Thursday I’m heading back to the Roxy to ignite the bohemian solo guitar world. Friends, great food and the classic north county spirit all come together for a classic moment. Venture out friends! Sunday night will be our last hit for the week and we’re heading to the Solterra Winery, right down the street from my house, for a great evening of music and stellar food. Wine too! It’ll be Leonard and I stirring up the sound and the last missing ingredient is you. Hope to see you there! There it is folks. The rain has stopped and the sun is threatening to come out. This too is a good option. adios, Peter PS. my “In My Life” music vid is momentum. Have you seen it yet? |
