I hope this email finds you and your family healthy and happy. I’m writing to let you know about a global concert and fundraiser that I’m thrilled to be part of TONIGHT, Tuesday the 29th of December at 5PM Pacific / 8PM Eastern!
Artists across the world have been especially impacted by the pandemic. Worldwide Musicians United (WWMU) rose to the occasion this year and pivoted their work to directly support artists by hosting online streaming concerts. They have also used music as a way to build community and decrease social isolation through innovative partnerships and global collaborations. This year, WWMU’s streaming concerts alone reached over 65k people and put money directly into the pockets of musicians and industry-members worldwide.
Join me at WWMU’s FREE end-of-the-year global concert on December 29th, streaming live on YouTube. “Peace Out 2020: It’s Been Real” will feature a cast of wildly talented musicians from around the world, including: legendary jazz guitarist Peter Sprague, award-winning cellist Margaret Maria, dynamic folk-blues duo Nathan & Jessie, Australian superstar Reigan, and MANY more! The concert will also be a fundraiser for the organization so that they can continue to support deserving artists directly and bring new sounds from around the world into your living room.
