Friends, just back from Denver and some sweet music with Alicia Olatuja and the band! Mile high jazz!
 Alicia flying a mile high! With (left to right) Christian Euman, Ben Sheppard, Alicia, Josh Nelson, and Peter. It’s a busy guitar slinger week starting tonight, solo guitar music at the Roxy. Downbeat is at 7pm. Tomorrow night we veer the cars north and land in Temecula at the fabulous Merc Theatre for a night of quartet jazz. It’s me, Tripp on sax, Gunnar on bass, and Duncan on drums playing through some new stuff. Jazz, samba, Beatles, funk, and psychedelic-a!  Quartet music with Tripp, Peter, Gunnar, and Duncan Friday finds me connecting up with Leonard Patton and Mack Leighton at the Handlery Hotel for their jazz series. It’s a great scene and starts at an early 5:30pm with 2 sets and guaranteed good times for all. Hope to see you there!  Leonard and Peter. I’m thrilled that we’re doing a special Saturday night of music at Ki’s. Normally it’s on Friday and not sure why, but this week it’s on Saturday.
