Guitarist Peter Sprague loves jazz! But he also digs deep into his musical history and unearths some sonic gems from the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and Brasil's Antonio Carlos Jobim. For this concert he connects with vocalist Lisa Hightower who Sprague met at the Rancho Santa Fe Inn 30 years ago. She was a waitress and sat in with the band on "How High The Moon". It was revolutionary and they've been playing together ever since. Lisa has recorded 2 of her own CD's with Peter as producer/player/arranger and she also appears on 3 of Peter's CD's. Bassist Gunnar Biggs plays up a storm and holds down the low end with the best of them. It's a vivid tour through three dimensional jazz!
