| Friends, we’re tracking Christmas music all day yesterday and coming up in an hour. Can you dig it, “Let it Snow” and outside the studio the thermometer’s peaking at 81 on the coast—inland, amped even higher. “It’s beginning to look a lot like….SUMMER!”
Keep it coming I say! Last week a fun time in LA with Denise Donatelli and Geoffrey Keezer. Hollywood, Sunset, Catalina Jazz Club!  My old friend Kelly Jocoy was at the Catalina gig and he caught this behind the scene angle of me on guitar with Denise singing. My niece Kate led a group at Panama 66 last week and sounded great mixing up Duke Ellington and Avril Lavigne. Here, she pulls in a glowing review. Maybe her first!
And for this week, tomorrow night is Roxy Thursday for solo guitar in downtown Encinitas. It’s been a couple of weeks and I’m thrilled to return. See ya’ there I hope!
Rounding the corner into next week, Monday is the San Diego Music Awards and Leonard and I get to play a couple of tunes, maybe win for best jazz album (“Dream Walkin’”) and I’m working on a little speech to give as I’m honored to receive the Lifetime Achievement award.
