Guinnevere Had Green Eyes

Hi Friends, Crosby, Stills, and Nash’s “Guinnevere” is on LOOP play over here and oh my, what a mood it’s setting up. The sky is gray, rain is on the horizon, Christmas is coming. That section of the tune where Crosby sings “as she turns her gaze, down the slope, to the harbor of L.A.”…well, it just seems like this is the right soundtrack for this moment.

And this moment has been one of slight confusion as we’re trying to figure out where to hold this year’s Christmas Eve concert. Weather maps and trained weather folk are calling for rain on December 24th and our electronic gear, fancy instruments, and Einstein inspired hairdos won’t exist well with water falling from the sky.

So, with a little help from a bunch of folks we’re moving the concert indoors, up to Encinitas, at the Seaside Center for Spiritual Living. This is a great space, seats LOTS of people, free parking, good sounding room, big stage, and paramount—protected from the elements. They are so kind to let us use the space so lets have some FUN! Bring the family, bring friends, bring the warmth of Christmas and community.

Look below for details on the address, etc.

We just finished a rehearsal with the band and it sounded just right. Well, not right off the bat, it took some going over but ended up sounding clean as a whistle.

Can’t wait!

Also up this week, Leonard has a concert planned in Santee that I’m thrilled  to be part of. Details for that too are below…

stay well and hope to see you soon, Peter

PS. my hand is doing well and few of the kind members of the band said I ought to get hand surgery more often…
