Blurring the Edges – with Peter Sprague, Fred Benedetti, and Tripp Sprague Live!

“Blurring the Edges” is a genre-bending ensemble featuring four of San Diego’s best-known jazz musicians. 

Peter Sprague, guitarist, is a Del Mar surfer who studied with Pat Metheny and has performed with Chick Corea, Dianne Reeves and many others. 

Fred Benedetti, guitar, is a noted composer, solo and ensemble performer and studio musician.

Tripp Sprague plays saxophone, flute and more.  In addition to jazz, he plays in a Steely Dan tribute band. 

Bassist Mack Leighton is a popular ensemble performer in San Diego. 

Expect a free-wheeling evening of jazz fusion with a bit of flamenco, Celtic, samba, Latin and Indian influences. “
