I’m not sure I’m qualified to make this proclamation but here I go regardless…
I hereby announce that Friday, May 8th in the year 2026 shall be known as Leonard Patton Day. It’s the day that the wonderful vocalist returns to San Diego after a month long tour with the legendary Pat Metheny and together they, along with the rest of the band, play a show at Humphreys. Come on out and we’ll all be there in celebration!

I think how Pat Metheny first heard about Leonard was through a YouTube video that Leonard and I posted called Mash Up. We took each of the songs from our Dream Walkin’ album, shortened them up and blended each tune into the next for a 20 minute psychedelic ride at SpragueLand. I just rewatched the vid and it’s pretty cool beans.
