Cal Trans’ Asphalt Holy Grail!

Hey There, it was a packed week with music coming out of the sky, notes pushing up from the turf, riffs rifling off the waves, everywhere music—and with that, lugging gear. Argghhhh! Luckily my friend Steve was helping me out with this. We shared our truth in sound in Carlsbad, Pt. Loma, San Marcos, and Coronado, one night each, driving back home late into the eve. It’s a good life staying creative and adhering to Cal Trans’ asphalt holy grail.

And up for this week, we have only one concert and it’s a cool free one in Rancho Santa Fe on Sunday afternoon at 4pm. We’re playing on the outside lawn in front of the Rancho Santa Fe Inn and the concert is sponsored by the Village Community Presbyterian Church. It’ll be our bigger ensemble featuring Leonard Patton and Rebecca Jade on vocals, Tripp on sax, Gunnar on bass, Duncan on drums, and me on guitar. The music will be our Jazz Explorations on Rock Classics featuring the music of Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Cream, Bob Marley, and Jimi Hendrix. Come on out and take in our unique angle on these classic tunes!

all the very best, Peter
