Big Help!

Hi (With a Little Help From My) Friends!

Last week’s Beatle Jam stream was a hit and was flowing down a lazy river. If you missed it, check ‘er out:

I just discovered this version of “With a Little Help From My Friends” with a young James Taylor and it’s absolutely stellar!

Folks kept asking for a behind the scenes tour of SpragueLand and we made a little video and attempted to air it on last week’s show. It crashed and burned with the audio folding in on itself. Murphy declaring it too much tech in one place.

So here it is in it’s unfettered glory:

Last week a local paper wrote an article about the revolution of streaming in the dog days of Covid. They included what we’re doing over here at SpragueLand. Fun!

Up for this week we’ve got a samba stream worked out for Sunday late afternoon. It’ll be the ace crew including Leonard Patton on vocals, Tripp Sprague on sax and flute, Justin Grinnell on bass, Duncan Moore on drums, and me on guitar.

Here are the details:

Join us on Sunday, October 18th from 4-6pm PDT as we play Bossa Nova!

A Brazilian concert presented by Drugs & Diagnostics for Tropical Diseases (DDTD) in support of the development of a COVID-19 antibody test.

The event will kick off with an introduction to the event by DDTD’s CEO, Dr. Marco Biamonte, followed by our first set of live music. Halfway through there will be a brief intermission where DDTD will update participants on their efforts to develop a COVID-19 antibody test, followed our second set of music to close out the night.

We hope you will join us as we perform the samba and bossa nova while supporting this incredible cause!

see you and thanks, Peter
