Greetings Fine Folks,
We just got back from a quick excursion to Hawaii and it was my wife Stefanie, our daughter Kylie, and me taking long walks in Waikiki joining the ranks of happy tourists strolling in paradise in the rain. An amazing blend of pristine ocean, plentiful golden sand, Las Vegas – like high-rises, and acai bowls at $23 a pop. Tons of fun!

The big news over here after our return is the upcoming bossa nova concert on 4/26 at the Conrad Theatre in La Jolla. We’re rehearsing today and I’m thrilled to get the first “live human” listen to the new arrangements I put together three weeks back. I’ve been practicing on my own with the computer tracks but nothing rings true like real humans bending the notes and altering reality.
